My trip involved two New Jersey Transit trains, a subway ride, and a long walk.Pros:Super lightweight. At 4 months pregnant I was able to carry my 25lb son (in an Ergo Carrier), my backpack diaper bag, and the stroller up the train steps with no problem.Easy unfold. A lot of umbrella strollers I looked at involved annoying levers and clips. The G-Lite flops open with the release of one clip and locks into place by stepping on one foot petal.Generous storage (for an umbrella stroller). I fit my ergo carrier and my diaper bag in the storage net. The diaper bag didn't completely fit but the shoulder strap (which runs down the center back of the stroller) doubles as a luggage strap keeping oversized items contained.Handles like a dream. I was able to steer it with one hand, pop over curbs, navigate gaps between the train and the station platform, and walk at a NYC pace with no problem.Thin profile. My everyday stroller is the Britax B-Agile. I was really bummed when it didn't fit down New Jersey Transit train aisles. The G-Lite fits with room to spare.Height. I'm 5ft 10 and I never felt hunched over.Cons:No recline (minus 1 star). This really made me hesitate when buying the stroller but in the end I needed a quality stroller that was lightweight so I went for it. I finally got my son to fall asleep in the G-lite (it took a lot more work than in a reclining stroller). Once he was asleep his head flopped over and to the side and he looked very uncomfortable. Next time I'll pack a small blanket that I can roll up next to his head.Single shoulder strap. This is more nitpicking than anything else but I wish there was a double shoulder strap so I could wear the stroller like a backback.G-Lite vs G-Luxe:The G-Luxe retails at 70 bucks more than the G-Lite. For the extra cost you get recline and an adjustable leg rest. There are some other small things like nicer wheels, etc but those are the two major differences in my eyes. These features also come with an extra 5lbs. If recline is a deal breaker for you then I would look at the G-Luxe. I was thisclose to getting it but lightweight won out in the end.Extra note:I've seen some reviews for both the G-Lite and G-Luxe complaining about the lack of a peek window. I found it helpful to detach the shade from the back of the stroller (very easy to do, just undo the velcro loops) and push the shade forward a click or two.The reviews for the G series weather sheild are terrible. I bought the Jeep Deluxe Stroller Weather Shield and it fits perfectly.

The cushioning and fabric are comfortable for the child, cup holder is nice, and it does steer nice. The front wheels at times do vibrate and the plastic wheels do not make this a very smooth ride. For the price I was hoping the wheels would have been rubber. I don't consider this any better than a Chicco. I am keeping this stroller and it will work fine for us, but for other potential buys I do believe you are paying the high price for the name only.

2 of 3 people found the following review helpful. This fit the bill: lightweight, durable, small profile. A little on the pricey side but sometimes you just get what you pay for. The seat pad/cover is easily removable so that you can wash it (great for those potty-training fails or spilled food incidents), the basket underneath is fairly roomy, and the stroller is easy to collapse and open -- you need two hands, but it's still pretty quick and easy. The stroller also has a handy carry handle at the back. I also like this stroller because, unlike a lot of umbrella strollers, it doesn't feel as rickety and flimsy -- the ride is smooth and the construction feels solid.
