43 of 43 people found the following review helpful.I hardly ever write reviews, but for this product I just had to. I have a 4 year old son that I wish I would have discovered this chair sooner.... I am a big fan of reading parents reviews and couldn't find many on this particular item.... I have a 2 month old right now and I was researching bouncers before she was born, I had a large swing that was my sons which he loved.... I needed something a little more compact. Well let me just tell you , I was a little skeptical on spending that kind of $$ on a bouncer.... But it had a couple of pros light weight, can be washed, and can be folded for trips to grandma's house. I have had this bouncer since my daughter was 1 week old and she LOVES it, and so do I.... as a tiny infant she would fall asleep on it as her own motion would rock her, and she looked so comfy, I also purchased the wood toy, which at 1 week old didn't really make sense. My daughter just turned 8 weeks and she has finally learned to push it coo at it... It was amazing watching her... she still falls asleep in it and she looks so peaceful. And the best part is they didn't name it babysitter for nothing!!! It's my babysitter when I am cooking, cleaning, and just trying to do anything.... she even watches my son as he plays all around the house and runs around, now I can position her to the second level, but we still use the first. I can't say better things about this, especially now that I realize she isn't a great fan of the swing!!! Moms and Dads take it from a Mom that does her research... this will be one of the best purchases you can make, yes it's pricey, but honestly it's priceless!!! Can't put a price on a happy baby!!!! And get the wooden toy!!! I wish I could give this bouncer 10 stars!!!! and once they can walk they can still sit in it!!! Hope this helps any undecided parents!!! I did get the air in all black..... And yes, amazon had the best price!!!!

I also own a small bright starts bouncer that was given to me as a gift, we put that upstairs and this one downstairs. The first 2 weeks of my sons life we compared and questioned if the 30$ VS $Bjorn was worth it other then Bjorns good looks for our kitchen/living room. Now 6 months into it we stopped using the cheapo one around 3-4 months and still use this one daily! In the cheap one my son always was crooked and his neck/head all crunched to one side. All he could do was lay there, with the Bjorn he can move his limbs about. Boy does he really get this thing bouncing and then just laughs and laughs. We also loved the adjustable settings because as he gained better head controll we could put him more upright and reduce the pressure of laying on his back/head thus avoiding flat head. Plus he prefered it. The fact that it folds flat is awesome too. We stowe it away when we have guests and we have packed it in the car when traveling so we could use it at hotels etc. So far I have washed this item a few times and it still looks great and it was easy. If your concerned about it not lasting to the age it claims I can at least say I had a friends hefty 17 month old boy sitting and bouncing in it and it withheld just fine. Really happy with this product.
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful.We wanted a bouncer that wouldn't heat the baby and would be easily portable -- this bouncer fit both of our needs. We have the Fisher Price Snugabunny bouncer, which the baby loves, but as the summer heated up, the baby was getting sweaty and uncomfortable in the soft fabric. The mesh on the Bjorn bouncer really does help him stay cool.As to the portability, it folds flat, and that's great. Because we were planning a few trips this summer, I wanted to be able to throw it in the big suitcase to take with us. However, the bouncer is longer than an average large suitcase at nearly 37 inches. We got a large duffel bag (Eagle Creek Luggage No Matter What Rolling Duffel Bag), and it fits in there. Thankfully, we had needed a new suitcase, so it wasn't too much of a hassle.We are nearing the end of one trip, and I'm so glad we got this bouncer and were able to travel with it. Sure, it's pricey, but to have something from home that the baby is comfortable in and can be used in hotels, at grandparents' houses, indoors or out, and more, makes it completely worth it for us.One final note: we got the Tiny Love Take-Along Arch, Sunny Stroll to attach to the bouncer rather than the bar Bjorn makes for it, and it's been great. Kiddo loves it.
