20 of 20 people found the following review helpful.I love Graco infant car seats. We had the Snug Ride22 for my daughter and were looking for the same seat for my twin sons. Many of the new Graco Snug Ride 22 car seats are now adjustable from the back and I don't like that. This seat is like my old model and has the strap adjustment in the front. It makes is very easy to tighten and loosen the straps. My boys were just barely 5lbs when they came home and these seats fit them nicely.

It is light-weight, user friendly, seemingly comfortable, attractive, has gotten great safety ratings, etc. The only reason why I only gave this 4 stars is because the fabric, while being very easy to wipe clean, is not very breathable. My daughter is super sweaty every time I get her out of the car seat...even if she's only been in it for a short time. This is a big bummer as we head into summer! We had a Graco Snugride with my first three kids (it expired so we had to get a new one for our fourth baby) and we never had this problem. It was made with a more cotton-like fabric and therefore was much cooler. So, if anyone from Graco is reading this...I love the car seat, but please go back to the old fabrics!
12 of 16 people found the following review helpful.This is the second Graco Snugride I have purchased as the first reached it's expiration date and my third child still needed a rear-facing car seat. I love that this carseat is light and easy to carry. My kids have never reached the 22lb limit before I wanted them in a traditional carseat anyway, so that has never been an issue. I love that this new carseat is now rated for side impacts as my old one was not. One of the biggest pluses to this carseat is that the sunshade has a stiff front and back so it can come all the way forward to block the sun from the rear in the car. I have yet to find another carseat that has this feature. It keeps me coming back to Graco every time.
