4 of 4 people found the following review helpful.I LOVE this carrier and so do my cats!! I bought a pink one for my larger cat a few years ago(when she was an only child!). She loves it and fits nicely in it. I just bought another one, an orange one, for her new little brother, and he likes it as well! They are super easy to "load", since they are from the top, it makes even squirmy pets easier to get into the carrier then the regular hard sided carriers. It is also nice to carry. The shoulder strap is comfortable, even when transporting a larger pet (my large cat is 15+ lbs.). I can put one on each shoulder, and carry them to and from easily! The bottom is soft and I usually lay a towel in the bottom to make it a lil' softer to lay on. The mesh sides give them a window to look out from and they love it! The carrier has a strap on the back for buckling it into the car seat for extra saftey. I just drove across 5 states moving and both carriers were buckled into the back seat of the car and rode very nicely the entire way. The cats were comfortable and after about 20 minutes laid down and went to sleep for the rest of the ride! When at home I un-zip the top portion of the carrier and leave the bottom portion as a toy-box/bed, so that it always smells like the house, which I beleive helps ease anxiety when it is time to travel. These also are airline approved and fit nicely under the seat in the airplane! I have traveled with the cats on the airplane using these and they work perfectly! Would definitly recommend for anyone looking for a carrier for their cat or small dog! A little spendy but definitly worth the price!!

My long haired chihuahua (9 1/2 lbs) was a little scrunched length wise and he couldn't really "sit up" but he seemed to feel secure in it. My previous dog carrier was broken because I had to bend the frame to get it under the seat. This one JUST fit! The only thing I wish it had was a pocket that would allow for my leash (the retractable type) to be put in it as well. And FYI be sure to inquire about all connecting flights and what the space is under the seats. My first dog carrier was an airline approved carrier as well, only Delta has planes that have MUCH less space on many of their planes!
