7 of 7 people found the following review helpful.I obsessed over double strollers for months. I have a 26 mo and a 5 day old. Clearly I haven't had much time to use it with both girls in it, but I already love it.I initially wanted a sit n stand, but realized that my 2 yo still rides in the stroller really well and with the sit n stand, when there is a carseat in the front seat there isn't really a place for the older one to sit comfortably in the second seat. I thought the joovy ultralight too would be a good alternative with the seat that you can snap in, but it just wasn't that comfortable for her. In addition, as with most tandem strollers, the handling was very difficult because of the size.Once I realized I wanted a side by side, it pretty quickly was narrowed down to this and the Britax B Agile double (wanted something better than an umbrella type and didn't need a true jogging stroller like a schwinn or BOB). Both are amazing strollers and I don't think you can really go wrong with either. People say the Britax basket was easier to access than even the revamped access on the new city mini gt, but for the size of the diaper bag I was using (petunia pickle bottom weekender bag) neither of them worked. If I had a Britax carseat already, I probably would have gone with the B agile, but I wasn't in the market for one and because the city mini seats lie flat (b agile appears to be at a slight incline, but I never tried it with a newborn so can't confirm) I just buckle the baby in with a Kiddopotamus Snuzzler. I also plan to get the belly bar and while it's not approved to use with carseats, I have read that it works well as an alternative to the car seat adaptor. I have no plan to purchase the adaptor because when attached (which is a pain to do), it no longer folds as easily or compactly. Also FWIW, our primary uses for our double are the zoo, walks around the neighborhood and indoor/outdoor mall walks. I don't do much shopping when i have both girls and I can always fit through the doors/aisles of the stores I'm going to, but I can see if you were doing a lot of shopping or moving in and out of small establishments how a side by side might not be appealing.Reasons the city mini gt double was my first choice:the seats are a little bigger (not much, but I have big/tall kids and even an inch can expand the life of the stroller);the fabric wipes clean more easily, even though the B Agile's fabric is softer;the seats folds down completely flat and also sit more upright when fully inclined (based on my 2 year old's testing).Rubber handle versus the B Agile's foam handle.the foam filled rubber tires and hand brakes were nice features, but not deal breakers for me.Things I still love about the B Agile double:The front access to the underneath basket, this is so cool. The carseat adaptor for Britax carseats is included (like I said, if I had a Britax carseat, then I would have gotten this one....probably)The britax is a few pounds lighter than the gtHope this helps some people that are obsessing over stroller research!

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.I'm so happy with my purchase. I was going to get the normal city mini but finally went for the GT because I'm thinking about the weight of a double strolled on grass and sand.I love this stroller. It's strong, beautiful and fits perfectly in the trunk of my car. I don't want to buy a new car this year but I can't live another day without a double. This slips right into my trunk and I still have 30% empty plus it lays flat enough to put bags of groceries on top.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.I spent a lot of time researching strollers for my twins and based on reviews both online and via friends, I went with the City Mini GT double. I do LIKE this stroller, I just don't love it.What I like:Smooth rideeasy to steerwonderful sun protectioncomfortable for the babieswe will be able to use this stroller a good long timegood views for both babieseasy to collapsefits through standard doorwaysWhat I don't like:The storage is hard to access, especially with the seats down and a twin/double sized diaper bag doesn't fit. While this is easy to collapse and not too heavy to lift alone, the sheer size makes it awkward to load in and out of our SUV on my own (for reference, I am 5'7"). For this reason, I had to buy a smaller umbrella type stroller and the City Mini has become our primary stroller for walks in the neighborhood, etc or for when my husband is around to help me load it in the car.Too big for use in stores..I dare you to try to make it through any children's store with this stroller without knocking over every rack of clothing you pass.I would not spend the money on this stroller if I had it to do over again. I would probably go with the Joovy Caboose Too or a City Mini Select.
