I have since purchased this one and absolutely love it! She had the mini which was great, but I do like the extra space in this one. Great directions, easy to assemble, fits in well and we have a smaller room, highly recommend to any breast feeding moms--a sleep saver.
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.I contemplated this bassinet for my entire pregnancy, trying to find one on craigslist as we'd already $ many baby items with my first daughter, who had colic. Finally we purchased this and I absolutely love the product. With my first baby I was paranoid, getting up to check on her all night, physically having to sit up and lean over her pack n play since it was taller than our bed. I disturbed my sleep so much -and my baby's! With my second I can't even remember waking up to check on him since I feel like I will know if anything is wrong -he's just 12" away. I can hear him breathing and moving and I love it. I love that he's safe in his own bed and that my husband and I have our own space together, too. My baby is an amazing sleeper. I do believe it's his personality, and I also believe this product helped us to establish healthy sleep habits --no anxiety for mom, no anxiety for baby -- no night wakings for mom to accidentally wake baby!I must admit that sometimes I do fall asleep nursing (lying down) and having the bed reassures me that if baby were to roll (he doesn't yet) he wouldn't fall off the bed since we have his space. I never nurse facing my husband or putting baby between us for safety. I'm also able to nurse baby at his first cues and even from newborn he didn't need to cry in the night, just cue for food -which has been great for my husband.I highly recommend this product! It's definitely best for newborns. At best I think we'll only be using the raised bed for a few more months but I can see using it should we have a sick baby/toddler down the road -just to keep them close.Highly recommended!
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.We bought this when my baby was about 8 weeks and I wish we had purchased it sooner. Both baby and I slept better being able to see each other in the middle of the night. Now we've transitioned it to a stand alone crib but still have it in our bedroom and everyone is happy. Next step will be to put it in the nursery. I have two complaints. First the mattress is a bit hard and rough. Even though you're not supposed to, we've put a blanket on it to make it more comfortable. Also, it's not the most user friendly device to fold and unfold if you using it for travel. Until you get the hang of it, it can be a bit frustrating and the instructions aren't the clearest. Regardless I would buy it again and recommend it to others.
